Future Meetings of ISBA

If you are thinking about proposing a site for an ISBA meeting then we encourage you to refer to the ISBA Program Council Procedures on meetings, which provides the guidelines that will be used to recommend venues for these meetings.

ISBA is involved in the following forthcoming meetings.


World Meetings

ISBA 2012

Planning has already begun for the 11th ISBA World Meeting, to be held in June 2012 in Kyoto, Japan. See the June 2010 issue of the ISBA Bulletin for the announcement.

ISBA 2010

The ISBA 2010 World Meeting was held in conjunction with the Ninth Valencia International Meeting on Bayesian Statistics from June 3 to June 8, 2010 in Benidorm, Spain.


Regional Meetings of ISBA Local Chapters

EBEBX, the 10th Brazilian Bayesian meeting, was held from the 21st until the 24th of March, 2010 in Angra dos Reis, in the state of Rio de Janeiro.


Co-sponsored and Endorsed Meetings

The CBMS Conference on Bayesian Nonparametric Statistical Methods will take place August 16-20, 2010 in Santa Cruz, California, USA.

The Eighth ICSA International Conference will take place December 19-22, 2010 in Guangzhou, China.

AdapskIII, the satellite meeting to MCMSki III, will take place January 3-4, 2011 in Park City, Utah, USA.

MCMSki III will take place January 5-7, 2011 in Utah, USA.

A Conference in Honour of Professor Adrian F. M. Smith on Hierarchical Models and Markov Chain Monte Carlo will take place June 2-5, 2011 in Heraklion, Greece.

International Research Conference on Bayesian Learning will take place in Istanbul Turkey during June 10-12, 2011. It will celebrate the 310th anniversary of the birth of Reverend Thomas Bayes, in Istanbul(!).

The 2011 International Workshop on Objective Bayesian Analysis (O-Bayes 2011) will be held at East China Normal University in Shanghai, China, during June 11-15, 2011.

The BISP (Bayesian Inference in Stochastic Processes) workshop goes back to where it started in 1998: Madrid. BISP7 will be organized by Mike Wiper (and colleagues) at Universidad Carlos III, Getafe (Madrid), Spain, during September 1-3, 2011.
